I asked.<br \/>\n\u201cSomewhere to come home, unwind and relax in peace\u2013 perhaps cook a meal, have a swim, sit outside with a beer, invite a friend to come over for a barbecue\u2026 I want to be close to shops and restaurants, but away from traffic and noise.\u201d<br \/>\nDaniel,\u201d I said, \u201cat Amanzi you can have it all. All of our apartments and cottages have kitchen facilities, we have a large salt water swimming pool, with a fabulous deck for sundowners, and even a braai (barbecue) for you to use. A great Spar with a wide selection of foods to buy is under a kilometre away, Hyde Park Mall just over a kilometre away, Rosebank 4 kilometres away, and you are spoilt for choice with restaurants surrounding us. You can do movies, restaurants, clothes, books and banks within a 2 kilometre radius. You could pop into a Woolworths (there are 2 within 2 km from Amanzi) and grab a frozen meal, or a salad to eat with delicious snacks like smoked snoek pate, chicken sosaties\u2026.<br \/>\nOr there\u2019s The Market Place, a deli less than 2 km away, where you can buy home made meals, all kinds of chicken dishes , beef and lamb stews, pasta, (my favourite is the cannelloni) and the ice cream with meringues is addictive\u2026.<br \/>\nNot to forget Fournos Bakery for mouth watering deli choices, artisan bread and rolls in town, hot prepared meals, cold meats, cheeses\u2026AND Fisherman\u2019s Deli next door\u2026<br \/>\nI coul d go on\u201d I said, \u2026\u2026..<br \/>\n\u201cI\u2019m sending an email to book into Amanzi right now\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/scontent-mrs1-1.xx.fbcdn.net\/hphotos-xfl1\/t31.0-8\/12493706_1096258237081133_5737630277375494750_o.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/scontent-mrs1-1.xx.fbcdn.net\/hphotos-xlf1\/t31.0-8\/12485970_1096258327081124_8640311813798849228_o.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net\/hphotos-ak-xft1\/t31.0-8\/12489244_1096258463747777_5056187009003919609_o.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Daniel wrote me an email saying that a Hotel is not where he wanted to stay when he was relocated to Johannesburg from Germany for 4 months?
