Review of Amanzi Guest House

I had the pleasure of spending twelve days/nights in one of the apartments at Amanzi Guest House in February. It was large, bright and had every convenience and more that I needed. It was very comfortable and very relaxing.


I really enjoyed the gardens. Every time I walked through them I saw something different. I also enjoyed listening to the bird songs during the day as well as petting their two dogs

And then there is the breakfast. It is not the conventional cold breakfast that most facilities offer. It is delicious and homemade. It is custom made for you whether you go to breakfast early or later.

Pam and Rob are amazing. They were so supportive and always knew the answers to any questions asked and offered great suggestions on where to find things. They are walking/talking encylopedias of the Johannesburg area. Deli, Thabang, and Lena provided to my every need and even anticipated them. Deli’s beautiful smile is contageous and Thabang is so very nice and always helpful. Lena quietly and efficiently tended to the laundry. Never before have I encountered such an all around nice and efficient team.

I will return to Johannesburg in June. I will definitely go visit them again.
