Review of Amanzi Guest House
We had THE BEST three-night stay at Amanzi Guest House in Craighall Park! We booked two of her gorgeous rooms and by gorgeous – I mean gorgeous !!! Both on the first floor with outstanding views into the trees, the greenery and the gentleness of the inner suburbs.The sound of running water from the ponds and pool which make up some of the lush and tropical gardens. It was quiet, serene and soothing for the soul. The rooms themselves are huge, beautifully designed and furnished – ridiculously comfortable, clean, immaculate and yet homely. The beds and bedding are really special – and the bathrooms are large, clean, beautiful, stocked with goodies and immaculate. The kitchen area incorporated in, with all that you could want – including biscuits, fresh milk, tea, coffee etc…. It was the first place we have ever stayed where I wanted to stay on – as usual, we have a few obligatory days in Joburg to sort out family before going on holiday. This time it felt like a holiday from the moment we drove up to the gates ….. Pam was the most lovely host – the staff were polite, friendly and helpful, and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt special. We have stayed at so many others in and around this area – and without hesitation – this is the best – by far !!!
