I’ve stayed in lots of guesthouses, especially in Johannesburg, but also internationally, and Amanzi Guest House has become my favourite. Lovely place to stay in, relax in, and come back to from a hectic business or shopping trip. Excellent service from very pleasant lodge staff, and run by a wonderful couple who went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Went the extra mile and organised an Uber collection for me, saving me hours of Joburg traffic time! Great breakfasts with divine home-baked bread baked fresh every day. I stayed in apartment one – spacious, every amenity included, and had two balconies to sit on, the front to enjoy the view of their lovely garden, and the entrance one to admire the amazing Joburg sunset! Very good value for money. Stunning leafy suburb too, with restaurants, pharmacy, garage etc, and an excellent shopping mall all very close by. Very secure, with the option of calling a security company for meet at the gate facility, when coming back late at night. I will always come back to Amanzi Guest House.
